Hello, I am Takuya Okamoto, founder of Okamoto Accounting Office.
At a major audit firm, I audited companies in a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, wholesale and retail, and real estate funds. I was then posted to China, where I spent five years on audits, accounting and tax consulting, and supporting Japanese companies with market entry and reorganizations.
After returning to Japan, I worked in the domestic and international tax departments of a major tax firm, solving tax issues in Japan as well as inbound and outbound cross-border transactions.
In 2016, I established accounting firms in Japan and Mexico, providing bookkeeping, tax filing and business consulting to Japanese companies.
In Japan and abroad, what I have always valued is service that adds value beyond bookkeeping and tax returns. Especially for overseas expansion and cross-border transactions, sharing key practical points and potential risks in advance reduces your administrative burden, so you can focus on your core business and get it on track quickly.
